The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an International Purchasing Analyst to join us at Ideal Bathrooms, based in Milton Keynes. You will plan, forecast, and purchase LCCS stock, while ensuring the highest level of stock availability is maintained and excess stocks are at a minimum. The International Purchasing Analyst will also ensure purchasing strategies are cost efficient and action improvements to provide the best possible cost of goods for the company. Key responsibilities: Analyse data to provide reviews, recommendations, and action stock profilesEffective and proactive life cycle planningAnalysis of stock with the result of locating the correct stock in the correct place in a timely mannerCapacity planning of incoming load build to ensure that purchase orders are planned to be delivered in a 'flat' methodologyForecast and manage the stock levels at company and depot level to ensure that capacity is not over reached.Collaborate with other team members and colleagues on projects to introduce and refine improvements in KPI's and working smarterEffectively identify, manage and reduce excess stocksMaintain and create reporting structure to provide full visibility of purchases made and on order. Details to be provided in value and quantityCreate alliances with other departments to ensure cross functional and company goals are achievedManage LCCS product featured on promotions ensuring stock is available at all times but is not over orderedBe the expert in their field and with their suppliers' productsEnsure the order management systems are set to provide the most accurate data to provide optimum order planningBuild effective relationships with manufacturers, factories and suppliers. What we're looking for in an International Purchasing Analyst: Full understanding of Low Cost Country Sourcing and all INCO terms related to purchasing and tradingSystemic Inventory Management experienceExperience of building, interpreting and using forecast modelsAdvanced PC skillsExcellent Experience with IMSEvidence of taking initiative and creating proactive improvementsPride in producing excellent KPI's by taking ownership and responsibilityEffective planner compatible with flexibility when required.
