About the role This role is part time (30 hours), permanent. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Industry Placement Coordinator (Construction). The Industry Placement Coordinator will report directly to the Industry Placement Manager and liaise closely with students, curriculum delivery areas and employers and have a key role in developing students to achieve their learning goals. They are also responsible for developing the relationship with the employer and identifying and providing advice on wider training needs across the employer’s organisation. The successful candidate will have: Minimum Level 3 qualification in IAG and/or a Level 3 or equivalent vocational qualification (Construction related industry preferable) – Desirable. Ability and the communication skills to build relationships, in particular with students and employers. Experience of new business generation Working experience of supporting and monitoring student progress.
