Knight Watson is looking to appoint an experienced Import and Export Operator to join its team in Grangemouth. Responsibilities Co-ordinating all import and export activities for the company – booking in deliveries with loading and delivery points. Maintaining and updating all information requirements related to these areas of the business including both internal and external requirements. Arranging the transport and co-ordinating with haulage companies to meet agreed loadings and deliveries. Essential Skills and Experience Freight Forwarding experience and great customer service skills to help our clients navigate a way through increasingly complex supply chains. Previous experience is essential and relevant qualifications are an advantage. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong Communication interpersonal skills and the ability to build working relationships with Clients, colleagues and suppliers. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages in particular Word, Excel and confident in use of databases. Sound understanding of health and safety and modern working environments. Desired Skills and Experience A knowledge of Import and Export Customs formalities. A knowledge of SCS Multi-freight and Destin8/CNS.
