We are currently looking to recruit a Heating Engineer on a permanent basis in the Cambridge area. Candidates should have a working knowledge of regulations pertaining to Gas and residential plumbing and heating systems, to allow them to carry out the installation, commissioning and servicing maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on such systems. Since 2007 they have been providing services to homeowners and businesses carrying out a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks. Quality is their key word and they only provide highly skilled fully trained engineers to work on any project. Key tasks and responsibilities: Installing boilers in private domestic properties Ensuring all services are delivered in line with mandatory Gas Safety Requirements Maintaining Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure controls and heating systems are left working efficiently and correctly. Ensuring that the site is always kept clean and tidy, following the correct procedures for each task. Full completion of all gas certification and benchmarking Instilling a customer-focused approach. Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience as an installation/maintenance engineer. Experience in customer facing roles Confident in basic wiring of boilers In-depth knowledge of Gas Safe Regulations. Hold current gas qualifications - CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA. Knowledge of S and Y plans Knowledge of boiler controls (including smart thermostats). Must hold a full clean UK driver’s license.
