Heating Engineer £15.00 per hour.We are currently looking for a Heating Engineer to join our Public Sector client in the Falkirk area.This position is long-term temporary position with the opportunity to apply for permanent roles as they become available.As a Heating Engineer you will carry out reactive and programmed maintenance & installation work, planned preventative inspection and routine and complex repairs to building mechanical services within agreed timescales and to the related standards such as Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations 1998 (as amended), LOLER, Pressure Regulations, F Gas, the Control of Legionellosis in Hot and Cold Water systems (L8 compliance), the Building (Scotland) and Fire Regulations, Water Regulations.You Must:Have a basic or enhanced disclosure within the last 12 months or be prepared to get one.Have served a related recognised apprenticeship (and achieved at least NC and SVQ Level 3 or equivalents in that area of specialism) i.e Heating Engineering.Have several years post Apprenticeship (or similar) experience as a Heating Engineer.Have achieved a recognised gas certification (e.g. CCCN, ICPN etc) and also relevant COMCAT modules for the equipment likely to be working on.Ideally you will also have Legionella BS02 (C&G 5831) or equivalent.You'll be working straight days working only, Mon-Fri, there may be a requirement to work occasional overtime.Fixed location of work, no additional travelling.Payment will be PAYE only giving you a generous holiday allowance & pension contribution
