Job Category: Engineering Job Location: Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom Heat Pump Service Engineer / Heating Engineer required for a major heat pump manufacturer. You will ideally be based in the CB, SG or CM postcode areas and will cover East Anglia, North Home Counties and North London. The heat pump engineer will receive full manufacturer training on their products, however a good technical heating / boiler background is essential. If you have refrigeration experience also this is an advantage. The role will be working predominantly on air source and ground source heat pumps carrying out service, repair and warranty work. A heating engineer with some electrical knowledge would be considered. My client is a major heat pump manufacturer and requires a well-qualified heat pump field service engineer with a range of heating experience. Refrigeration, Heat Pump or Heating engineering experience is required along with a willingness to travel a large territory. Heat Pump Service Engineer / Heating Engineer Position Overview Reactive service and maintenance and commissioning of heat pump systems Fault-finding and troubleshooting Providing detailed technical support as required Home-based covering East Anglia, North Home Counties and North London The role will require travel further afield as and when required Heat Pump Service Engineer / Heating Engineer Position Requirements Proven heating experience. Heat pump knowledge is preferred but not essential. NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Heating or Refrigeration Travel throughout East Anglia and North Home Counties and North London.
