Head of Mechanical Design Engineering Working on future bleeding edge technology this role will be vital in growing and developing a team of design engineers for a hugely ambitious hi-tech business. Sitting as part of the senior leadership team you will need to have a strategic mindset with the ability to coach and manage engineers across the full product development process. This business is part of a global group, with the UK site on a huge journey of product innovation where they are releasing new products at pace on a global scale. As a manager you will get the chance to make strategic decisions working closely with a CEO who has instilled a clear vision across the business. We are looking for a manager with a strong mechanical engineering background with a great grasp of the fundamentals of engineering who wants to make a real difference. You will deliver new technology into new markets so the ability to lead and innovate will be key whilst also growing your team. Ideally you will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong leadership background of managing teams of talented engineers working on projects from cradle to grave
