Caretaker / Handyman - Static Site £20k - £24kp.a. Our client is a National Building Services provider. They have an excellent reputation within the region, they are currently looking to recruit a Caretaker / Handyman to work with them covering their Client Portfolio's on their Static Sites in the Royal Tunbridge Wells Region.You will be carrying out Planned, Preventative & Reactive Maintenance Schedules to Premises which include Commercial Offices & buildings. Hours 07:00 - 13:30 Mon - Fri.Duties will includeMonitor Fire safety equipment & carry out Fire DrillsOperate & respond to alarm systems, liaise with Fire & Security Contractors, along with provide Emergency access to site.Carpentry, hanging and adjusting Shelving, door locks, basic plumbing tasks, decorating and general building fabric repairsMaintain up to date records of all work carried out within the site manuals, both hard copy files and electronicTo participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hoursMaintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, customers, and work as part of a teamEnsure clear communication with line management and office support staffIdeally you will be educated to City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent in Carpentry or a relevant Trade, knowledge & experience of working in an Educational Facility. Holder a valid CSCS card, Working at Height/IPAF/PASMA certification is desirable but not essential.
