Role Summary: Goods Receiving Inspection Inspection of a range of mechanical, machined and composite component parts Updating business system and processing receipt information Liaising with SQE and suppliers in support of non conformance solutions Key Activities: Inspecting components to ensure conformity to drawing, PO and other specifications Ensuring documentation compliance Maintaining and ensuring traceability of component parts Essential responsibilities: Qualifications / Requirements: Conversant with and detail understanding of complex engineering drawings Understanding of mechanical, composite or machining manufacturing processes Use of a wide range of measurement equipment Competent in business system use and Microsoft suite of business apps An Understanding Aviation standards and approvals (AS9100, AS9102, Part21G etc) Competence in CMM a distinct advantage Desired characteristics: Diligent in application of requirements Works well in team environment Self motivated -can do approach Must be able to articulate non conformance and issues to different stakeholders in the business Precise works to high level of accuracy accountable
