The Gas Engineer will be working on commercial and domestic buildings, including schools, pubs, churches, and factories. Experience on these sites is therefore highly desirable.The client is experienced in the fields of specialist gas installation, commercial ME, facilities maintenance, domestic plumbing and heating, system disinfection and industrial pipework/gas installation.Key Duties for a Gas Engineer:Working on varied projects including commercial and domestic buildings;Carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance and repairs on domestic systems;Gas Engineer Person Specification:Must have an accredited commercial gas engineer qualification (i.e. an NVQ);Must have experience/be working on commercial projects currently;A high level of gas and plumbing skills and knowledge;A full, clean, driver's license;Willing to undergo a DBS disclosure.Desirable for a Gas Engineer:Commercial Catering Qualifications (COMCAT);Renewables Qualification;LPG;Plumbing Qualification;Specialist Gases experience/qualification;Experience working with Oil;Electrical maintenance experience/qualifications;Current CSCS card.The client prides themselves on the quality of the work they do.
