Financial Management Accountant - FTC

Description About the role: Reporting to Head of Finance,this role is initially a 12-month "Fixed Term Contract" responsible for completing month end processes and reporting forour Pub Partner Division which currently stands at 170 pubs in the estate. This role will also be responsible for ensuringour Pub Partners are getting charged accurately, carrying out varianceanalysis, balance sheet reconciliations and liaison with the operations team. KeyAccountabilities: „ Completion of the month end activities including all accruals and prepayments „ Timely and accurate production of Management Accounts „ Balance Sheet Reconciliations completed with the relevant supportingpaperwork and commentary „ Heavy emphasis on costs accounting, control and analysis, and ensuring pubpartners are charged correctly „ Running weekly and monthly charges to our pub partners, issuing invoicesand credits notes where applicable „ Providing support to both our Retail Development Management team, andthe wider Finance Team „ Updating records and charges for changes in our Pub Partner businesses „ Sales and gross profit reporting „ Annual bond and Interest calculations „ Discounts and retros analysis and processing „ Inputs to the Budgeting and Forecasting process „ Work cross functionally with Finance and Operations to reduceduplication and improve efficiency in our reports and processes „ Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels What we are looking for: „ An individual currently studying toward a recognised AccountancyQualification, or with similar experience „ A strong systems background and experience onNavision highly desirable „ Strong attention to detail and confident in communicating withnon-finance colleagues „ Highly organised and methodical in delivering a service with a highlevel of attention to detail „ Responsive and delivers work on time with the ability to work withintight deadlines „ Advanced Excel skills; including but not limited to pivot tables, sum-iffunctions and lookups! „ A positive "can-do" attitude willing to support other teammembers as requiredInreturn we will offer you:„ Competitive salary „ 25 days annual leave +bank holidays„ Private medical healthcare„ Group personal pensionplan„ Life assurance„ 25% off dining &30% off staff shop„ Highstreet Retaildiscounts „ Career progression Translate
