As a result of significant organic growth over the last 12 months they have a requirement for a driven and ambitious Financial Controller to undertake a hands-on role with overall responsibility for the finance function to include implementation of robust processes and systems and driving efficiencies.Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be a well-rounded accountant with previous experience in construction / engineering.This is a newly created position and as such will enable the successful candidate to really put their own stamp on the role.The Role: Day to day management of the finance function Preparation of management accounts packs and presentation to senior management teamBudgeting, forecasting, cashflow P&L on a regular basis to ensure proficiency Month-end and year-end responsibilitiesJob costings and preparing job costing reportsImplementing of processes and driving efficienciesThe Person:ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifiedExperience within construction or engineering sector is essentialStrong leadership skills with the ability to influence changeAbility to negotiate and challenge where necessaryThe Benefits:Up to £60K depending on experienceOn-site car parkingSome flexibility Excellent opportunities for development
