Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will deliver an efficient, effective, responsive payroll service to the business.Client DetailsCharity OrganisationDescription Ensuring accurate and timely payments for all staff Reconciling balance sheet payroll control accounts at least monthlyAccurate and timely payments to HMRC and pensions providersEnsuring and documenting compliance Producing month and year end reports Liaising with colleagues and external bodies as requiredProviding input to budgeting processes as requiredEnsuring the comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all payroll processes and proceduresActing as the internal systems expert (super user) for the SelectPay payroll packageOther duties and tasks as may be required by the Financial ControllerProfileAchievement of, or working towards, a recognised accounting, payroll or pensions qualification (desirable)Minimum of two years' experience developed in a similar or equivalent role (essential)Experience of practical application of payroll and pensions regulations (essential)Proficient in the use of specialist payroll systems and Microsoft applications, in particular Excel (essential)Experience of working in the not for profit sector and/or for a service provider (desirable)Job OfferComprehensive training and generous benefits package
