About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available at our Home Delivery Sheffield site within the Finance Team, to provide accountancy assistance to the team. Reporting to the Assistant Accountant you will assist in the preparation of weekly profit & loss reports as well as: Finance system ledger assistance Internal KPI reporting assistance Communicating effectively daily with internal and external customers; General finance administration support; Assisting colleagues within the team on an ad-hoc basis Requirements: In addition to 5 GCSE's including English and Maths at grade C or above the succesfull candidate will: Have strong MS excel skills Be motivated to be able to work under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines; Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing with problems and challenges; Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude; Must have a flexible and adaptable approach to demands and changes in work activity; Enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and highly organised. About the Apprenticeship As an Accountancy Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship at Level 3. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake two AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping modules and the full AAT Level 3 qualification.The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
