Job Family: Support WorkerLocation: Taunton, SomersetPay Rate (£): £8.91 per hourVacancy Reference: 027068 Role Overview:-As a Female Support Worker at Bridge House, you will be working in one of our high risk services our service users suffer from moderate to profound learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.Your main aim will be to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities.Throughout a typical day, you’ll help our residents with the everyday challenges of washing, dressing and eating. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful for your client. You’ll be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.Requirements:-The individuals we support at this service enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential. We are therefore looking for Support Workers with no experience who can hit the ground running.
