Female Care/Support Workers-Days AltonSmall Friendly Supported Living Home4 Adults with varying degrees of Learning DisabilitiesPermanent Position35 hours per week7.30am to 9.30pm shiftsAlternate weekends£9.26 Per hour pay rate (Reviewed 1st April 2021) About the home:This small friendly supported living home, that supports 5 adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ASD, Epilepsy and Speech Impairments.The service users are very active, and actually teach MAKATON Sign language to pre-school children part-time.About the role as care/Support Worker:As a Care/Support worker, you will provide day to day support around the home, including promoting good personal hygiene with quality Personal Care. Other duties to help putting on their washing, ironing, activities, and you will be a positive person able to encourage the service users to participate in social based activities to help them improve their skills and confidence.
