Job Duties: Charlesworth Engineering Ltd is an established engineering company who supply too many sectors bespoke and repeat stainless steel process pipework, bespoke metal components and parts. Charlesworth Engineering design, manufacture, install and maintain. You will be employed as a Stainless Steel Fabricator in a busy manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for joining parts using cutting and welding techniques and materials to a high standard. You must also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. Operating CNC machine. Process and finish components with minimal guidance. Working within the Fabrication Shop to final weld fabricated metal components to the required quality standard and to meet the production schedule. Ensure all materials are accounted for; tack and weld materials together as per engineering drawing. Qualifications / Experience: Experienced to operate CNC machine, brake press, guillotine, drills hand tools. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, particularly welding symbols. Understanding of Lean Principles & methodology. Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative. Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures.Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Be able to read and interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables and other measuring instruments specialized to the job or industry. Must have 8 years plus metal work experience, preferably welding in a heavy equipment environment. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at one time. Good verbal and written communication skills. Motivated self-starter with an eye for detail Ability to meet given targets. Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities.
