Executive Housekeeper SO/Sotogrande

JOB DESCRIPTION A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Executive Housekeeper to be part of the opening of a luxury lifestyle resort in Southern Spain. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department and the forward planning. As Executive Housekeeper you develop, implement, evaluate and monitor policies and standard procedures within the housekeeping department, to ensure optimal guest satisfaction, sales maximisation and profitability on an ongoing basis. You check the arrivals, departures and special attention guest reports and prepare the rooms accordingly. You also conduct inspections in guestrooms to ensure excellent standards. You prepare all staff working schedules for the department through the weekly forecast and allocate these to staff as appropriate. As Executive Housekeeper you are responsible for preparing, controlling and analysing the housekeeping budget, in relation to occupancy and departmental expenses. The Executive Housekeeper reports to the Director of Rooms. YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: 5 years of experience in a comparable role in high end hospitality Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Spanish and English proficiency Strong leadership skills Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines Entrepreneurial spirit Excellence Previous opening experience is a plus English and Spanish speaker
