Jackson Hogg is supporting a leading manufacturing organisation in the Middlesbrough area with an Engineering Supervisor role. This is a permanent opportunity to join a well known chemicals business and lead a multi-discipline engineering team. Responsibilities * Requirements * Lead the multi-discipline engineering team * Allocate all engineering activities within the area * Control and manage the work within the area to ensure adherence to agreed targets for time and cost * Direct lead and motivate the team members in the pursuit of Continuous Improvement * Evaluate the training and skill development needs within the area team * Provide relevant and up to date progress reports on current engineering activities * Managing 3rd party contractors and their performance. * Candidate Requirements * Previous experience leading an engineering team * Must have worked in a chemicals environment e.g. COMAH site, hazardous chemicals * Must be ambitious * Problem solving skills
