We are very excited to be working with a growing manufacturing company who design and manufacture specialist equipment and technologies for the Utilities industry. They are looking to add an experienced Production Engineering Manager to their team. This role includes responsibility for Quality and Production department aswell as full responsibility for the Engineering team. Role* Assist in improving the performance and design of existing products and provide technical support to the company's production, servicing and sales activities* Managing tight deliverable deadlines, to meet customer and company expectations, where you will be required to use your engineering experience, analytical, and reporting skills to offer solutions and overcome challenges under your own initiative. * Manage resources on the shop floor to drive production and project activities within the business to complete tasks and orders to help keep to customer deadlines* Action Reports, investigation lead to customer and drafting reports and corrective actions for review* Preventive Maintenance activities* Production activity RA and Training Toolbox Talks / Induction of new staff* Quality control of goods in and goods out Person* Strong Engineering technical experience * Experience of Solidworks Product Data Management (PDM)* Strong experience of technical project report writing, writing of RAMS and customer focused communications* Previous experience of working within fabrication, production and design engineering environments* Ability to work across multiple projects and quality control activitiesIf you would like to hear more about this excellent opportunity and have an informal confidential chat, please don't hesitate in getting in touch.
