Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a fast growing manufacturing organisation in the Falkirk area with an Engineering Manager appointment.Responsibilities: * Responsible for the engineering support and maintenance activities on site * Lead the Engineering Technical department and team of Engineering Technicians * Ensure equipment and plant reliability through development and execution of maintenance plans and root cause investigation of failures * Provide direction and leadership to the Engineering team, co-ordinating work and activities * Provide professional and technical advice and support to the site in relation to the manufacturing processes, equipment, services and facility. * Prepare, manage and control the maintenance budget * Support the siting of client projects, ensuring engineering actions are completed to planRequirements: * Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering experience and competence * Excellent leadership skills with proven track record of leading and developing high performing multi-disciplinary teams * Pharmaceuticals, electronics or equivalent is desirable * An effective communicator * Highly organised with an ability to work effectively to deadlines
