THE ROLEI am seeking an Employer's Agent / Quantity Surveyor to join my client in Preston, Lancashire.You should be enthusiastic to join a dynamic team.You will need to be a Quantity Surveyor working for another firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants and be keen to do a role as a QS and Employer's Agent.My client is continuing to expand which has created this role to work on a range of exciting projects across the North West.THE COMPANYMy client is a large firm of construction consultants offering cost management, project management and EA services with several offices across the North East and North West of England.THE CANDIDATEYou will be a Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years post graduate experience working for another firm of construction consultants.You will either be working towards becoming chartered with the RICS or you may be more senior and already be chartered.You will need to have pre and post contract experience as a QS with experience to include estimating, tender reporting, contract administration, cost control, programme and risk management.You will be keen to get involved in a role which will include all QS duties and Employer's Agent duties too.Previous experience of the Employer's Agent role is not essential as training and support will be given to a good Quantity Surveyor.Salary is very negotiable in the range of £30000 to £50000 per annum according to experience plus pension, fees, support to become chartered if not chartered already, performance related bonus.Please email a full c.v. or give me, Denise Neville a call for an informal and confidential discussion on +44 20 7613 5555 or +44 20 8368 0025 or mobile +44 7836 350309.
