Our client who are a well-established and industry known specialist serving the Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing sectors are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to support a number of service and maintenance works throughout Central Scotland.Employed in a field-based position where a van will be provided, you will be responsible for: * Carrying out routine servicing, repairs and inspection work on a wide range of heavy industrial plant and equipment * Working with control panels, AC/DC motors, 3 phase supplies etc. * Basic mechanical works on the likes of gearboxes, motors etc.Essential requirements: * Served recognised electrical apprenticeship * Hold a formal electrical qualification i.e. 17th Edition etc. * Strong background working within heavy industrial engineering in a maintenance capacity * The ability to read & work from engineering drawings * Pneumatic & hydraulic experience * Sound knowledge and understanding of H&S standards in the workplace * Full UK Drivers licence with own transport
