We're currently looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our clients growing team at their state-of-the-art facilities. Our clients are a global player in supplying specialist products for the construction, fabrication, print and display sectors worldwide.ResponsibilitiesCarrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, refurbishment, installation, improvements and modification or upgrade to plant and services in order to minimize downtime and maintain the equipment in the best possible condition.Managing electrical repairs and breakdowns whilst avoiding downtime and ensuring minimal disruption.Fault finding and continuous improvement site wide focusing on critical plant and addressing the root cause of failures.Initiating and modifying electrical designs; conducting diagnosis, repairing and testing of malfunctioning equipment.The Ideal PersonYou must have completed a recognised apprenticeship as an electrical technician and have a minimum of 5 years post apprentice experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment. You will also be well versed in fault diagnosis in electrical systems and equipment.RemunerationFantastic day rate of £32,000 and £40,000 when the role moves to shifts.
