DescriptionEarly Careers Coordinator (Part-time) Would you like to be part of a team that won the QA Award for Macro Employer of the Year in 2020 for Apprenticeships, coordinating wide ranging Early Careers projects across all 5 Land UK Munitions sites and the Early Careers community? We currently have a vacancy for an Early Careers Coordinator at our site in Glascoed. As an Early Careers Coordinator, you will co-ordinate and support the administrative activities of the Early Careers & Skills programmes ensuring that that early careers programme performance is managed and monitored in line with KPIs, business objectives and regulatory body requirements. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work in a diverse role within an ever changing, key part of the business and assist with the development of the next era of BAE Systems. This role will be a part-time contract of 22.2 hours per week over 3 days (Monday to Wednesday) Your main responsibilities as an Early Career Coordinator will involve: Meeting the demands of internal / external quality monitoring and compliance standards as set by the Early Careers Manager and Central Quality, funding and compliance team via sub-contract coordination and scrutiny Co-ordinating learner registrations, progress monitoring, certifications activity and internal / external meetings, learner voice surveys, safeguarding reporting, supporting with time keeping and attendance. Co-ordinating additional activities e.g. recruitment and exit process, induction process and internal/ external celebration events as required, awards competitions, apprentice and graduate travel, enrichment activities Providing support to Early Careers delivery teams and Management with any activities as required, ensuring high standards of behaviours and delivery. Analysing and updating Management Information Systems (Yeti, BKSB, Learning Assistant, Tableau and Canvas) and compile reports to support the Early Careers & Skills delivery programmes. Raising purchase orders to procure goods and services as required ensuring timely completion of payments. Being pro-active in identifying improvements to process and service that leads to quality and / or cost saving outcomes, producing working instructions for work tasks throughout. Your skills and qualifications as an Early Careers Coordinator: Essential: Experience of working in an HR/ training / education environment Knowledge & experience of apprenticeships Knowledge & experience of regulatory body requirements (Ofsted, ESFA, Awarding Organisations) Experience of auditing and quality compliance requirements Competent in using Management Information Systems Competent in use of Microsoft Office Willing to travel to other UK sites occasionally Desirable: Minimum Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent End Point Assessment knowledge and experience What we're looking for in you: You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills when dealing with both internal customers and external suppliers across BAE Systems apprenticeships, skills and graduate programmes across the UK.
