Girling Jones are excited to be urgently recruiting for an experienced Domestic Roofing Gang which should include 2 x Roofing Operatives and 1 x Labourer to start immediately in Stroud. This is a permanent position and after a successful interview you will become a full time employee of the company. With a successfull start to the year, we have 149 Roofs to be completed in Stroud and 160 Roofs in Bath, all on domestic properties. You will require your own tools for this position, and relevant roofing qualifications. A company van and fuel allowance will be supplied.Roofer pay rate x 2: £15 per hour.Labourer pay rate x 1: £10 per hour.The above rates will be your base rate. You will also be require to work on Price work which means you will have a priced roof to complete, if you complete this in a quicker time frame and the work is signed off, you will be paid accordingly. The £15 serves a purpose of a Safety net as a full time employee, if you are rained/snowed off, you will be paid at £15 per hour for the time you are not working.Trade related qualifications - CSCS, IPAF, NVQ, City & Guilds etc.Able to provide 2 recent working references - must be from a trusted company, we are unable to accept references from other agencies.Own transport - essential as you may be required to travel between houses/sites.Punctual, Presentable & Reliable - 3 key traits both us and contractors will look for prior to your interview/start date.RTW - You must have either a Passport OR long birth certificate with separate picture ID.If you match the above criteria and would like to apply for this position, please forward an updated CV and we will contact you back within 24 hours.
