DECORATING FLT DRIVER & SHRINK WRAP LINE OPERATIVE GLASS DECORATIONPlease ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.- CASTLEFORD Allied Glass Containers are one of Europe’s most prominent manufacturers of premium glass containers, providing exceptional quality glass packaging for some of the world’s most prestigious spirit brands.We are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals to work as Counterbalance FLT Driver & Shrink Wrap Line Operatives within our Glass Decoration Department in Castleford.The site is easily accessible and has good motorway links, as well as benefiting from free on-site parking.Reporting to the Spray Line Technician, the purpose of the role is to assist and support this busy department providing a safe and efficient shrink wrapping operation and in the transfer of packed ware from the shop floor to warehousing facilities and different areas of the factory floor.Suitable candidates should possess a good basic level of Maths and English and may be required to undertake aptitude tests to demonstrate this.This is a fast-paced environment so ideally will have previous experience of working within a 24-hour continuous process plant; however, this is not essential.A valid counterbalance FLT licence is essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively and safely in this fast paced and sometimes pressured environment.This process runs on a 2-shift system between Monday to Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday, working 12-hour shifts days and nights, working an average of 36 hours each week.The rate of pay for this position is £9.81 per hour, with an uplift for Friday and Saturday night shift.In addition, individuals can expect other benefits associated with a major successful organisation including Company Pension and 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).Anyone wishing to apply for the above position should do so in writing with an up to date CV and covering letter stating why you would like to apply for this position and outlining any relevant skills and experience.Applications to Kristy Burns, HR Officer, at Allied Glass Containers Ltd, South Accommodation Road, Leeds LS10 1NQ, or alternatively you can e-mail your details.Closing date: 18 th February 2021
