COSS / PIC

CML are looking for 4 COSS / PIC's to work on the Network Rail, Rail infrastructure contracts, reactive and planned.As a General Foreman at CML you will always work in and promote a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.You will organise, motivate and supervise all site operatives & subcontractors as well as identifying training needs and competencies of site operativesYou will work on the Western & Wales CAM Framework delivering Rock cutting Stabilisation works, Soil nailing, Rock bolts, Mesh and Scour remediation works.You will be responsible for liaising with Clients/visitors in a professional manner and where necessary, carry out; inductions, site briefings of method statements and activities, daily inspections and record any changes. This will include taking photographs and record additional works found to the Project Manager/ Site Manager and ensure return to head office.You will be required to get stuck in with other tasks when not utilising your skills / trade, we work as a team at CML.Skills / Qualification:PTSCOSS / PIC (5 years)ES (5 years)SSSTSWork well within a team as well as being able to lead the teamsAdvantageous qualifications: Plant (CPCS – Dumper, Roller, 360 Excavator), Joinery, Bricklaying, Groundworks, Drainage SMSTS, PASMA, IPAF, small tools, Temporary works supervisor/coordinator, First Aid, street works, IRATA, rail trolley, weed spray, chainsaw, strimmer etc.Other information:Travel and lodging will be required if the sites are nationwideTraining & Development is provided and maintained by our T&D teamPosition is permanent / directly employedBased from our office in Glastonbury, South WestPackage dependent on experience.If you are interested in this role and would like to apply, please follow the instructions.
