Conveyancing Assistant

An established and well-regarded law firm based in Chester city centre is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join the team for a full-time, permanent position. The role offers genuine progression opportunities and the chance to work with a close-knit team. The Role The newly hired Conveyancing Assistant will: Deal with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance. Be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches. Keep the case management system and any third-party web sites up to date in real time. Ensure clients and introducers of the business receive the best possible service at times. Prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process. Prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices. Deal with post exchange matters as directed by your team manager. Be responsible for completions on the day of completion. Undertake any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should the need arise. The Ideal Candidate Applications to this Conveyancing Assistant role are invited from those who demonstrate: At least 12 months’ solid experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant. Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment. Excellent attention to detail. Good telephone manner. Conversant in Microsoft office. Highly organised. Willingness to learn new skills. Experience of using a case management system. Salary and Benefits On offer for the Conveyancing Assistant will be: £17,000 - £23,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits.
