Control Room Operator

Job DescriptionManning the telephone and MiTSM monitors. All telephones on the premises will be answered in accordance with standard company instructions.Monitoring check calls via the MiTSM screens and calling the relevant Officer, Site, Response Office, Operations or Duty manager when the call has not been made within the designated time, recording all actions taken with reasons.Monitor booking on jobs for Response Officers to attend, follow and comply with procedures for our cleints.To understand and complete all Mitie procedures accurately and on timeTo understand and comply with policies and proceduresTo carry out work in a safe and diligent mannerTo comply with all Health and Safety policies and proceduresTo undertake additional duties in line with management requests as requiredMonitoring the Health and Safety of Response Officers by means of voice check callsComply with all ISO271001 auditing requirementsQualificationsExcellent interpersonal skillsPC skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint· Ability to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamHigh level of commitment and professionalismWillingness to learn and developAbility to manage workload to meet team deadlinesAdaptable with flexible and positive attitude· You must have a 10 year checkable history as per BS7858Additional InformationShift pattern12 Hours with 4 on then 4 offNote:This job description Is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for this position and the range of duties undertaken.
