Our client who specialise in decorative plasterwork for prestigious projects such as Royal Palaces, exclusive residences, luxury retail stores and 5 star hotels are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager.We ideally are looking for someone with a minimum 2 years’ experience of construction, ideally (but not essential) in our sector or a related interiors industry sector (eg. Ceilings, dry-lining, joinery, contracting etc)Location: Office in Sutton, South West London. Sites in Central London and southern EnglandResponsibilities:- Ensuring that works are carried out to a high quality standard andwithin programme- Managing site teams / resources across various projects to ensure works are delivered ontime- Client facing, ability to build and maintain strong relationships- Reading and understanding the client’s drawings and programme, preparing the subprogrammeto meet these requirements or identify issues- Calling off materials from workshop for delivery to site as required- Ensuring works are carried out safely and that our work areas are tidy- Writing method statements and risk assessments as required- The PM takes the project from order to final accountRequirements:- Minimum 2 years’ experience of construction, ideally (but not essential) in our sector or arelated interiors industry sector (eg. Ceilings, dry-lining, joinery, contracting etc)- Commercial acumen- Computer literate, particularly Excel- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written- Pro-active, can-do attitude.
