Contractor Escorts required at HMP Preston, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, £10.21 per hour Your new company You will be working at HMP Preston for a Facilities Management company. Your new role As part of the security team you will be responsible for assisting in the safety and security of the establishment where your duties will include escorting visitors, building contractors, gate duties within the prison and outside areas. You will ensure the safety and security of the visitors, staff and prisoners within a Prison establishment, while persons from outside of NOMS are on site. You will also ensure that no unauthorised persons or items enter the establishment. Radio operation & handling Supervision of visitors & contractors on site Contractor Tool checks Patrolling perimeter and grounds Health & Safety Procedures Routine administrative work What you'll need to succeed You must be able to pass an enhanced vetting procedure to qualify for this position. Experience within the security or escorting industry is considered highly advantageous but not essential.
