Construction Supervior (Mechanical)

Location  Falkirk INEOS FPS FPS is a 100% INEOS-owned integrated oil and gas liquid transportation and processing system with a nominal capacity in excess of one million barrels per day serving the central area of the North Sea. Oil and gas liquids from over 50 offshore fields and St Fergus flow through pipelines into FPS. FPS transports crude oil and gas liquids from offshore and onshore entry points, processes the liquids at Kinneil and redelivers to the customer Forties Blend crude oil at Hound Point and either Raw Gas or fractionated Gas Products at Grangemouth. Job Purpose Reporting to the TAR Manager, the post holder will be responsible for pre engineering TAR mechanical and piping scopes for future TAR events in line with FPS standards. Principle Accountabilities Provide mechanical and piping construction support to deliver TAR events safely and efficiently Carry out scoping of TAR mechanical/piping work orders & produce a detailed statement of requirements for each Review & Approve all work packs produced by the TAR Mechanical & Piping contractor to ensure contents are in line with TAR expectations Input into TAR Construction review sessions & advise on planning logic & durations Supervise TAR Contractors field activities to ensure they meet Ineos FPS standards for safety & quality Ensure work is controlled safely and effectively managed including performance of daily site audits and safety audits plus lifting compliance Conduct weekly progress meetings with planning and scheduling team Interface with asset engineering, maintenance team and 3rd party contractors Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Five years’ experience of Mechanical & Piping Construction within an Oil & Gas / Refining / Petrochemical environment Detailed knowledge of piping and fabrication standards Capable of interpreting detailed P&ID/PFD/isometric drawings Experience of creation of fabrication drawings Fully conversant with Control of Work processes and Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo preferred) Advanced ability to communicate, coach and organise third party vendors/contractors to enable safe and on-time delivery of assigned work scopes Prior TAR experience would be preferred Competent with Microsoft Office applications Understands commissioning processes and the relationship with construction and completion control Expectation to work additional hours during site planned and unplanned events
