Construction Site ManagerV-Recruit are currently recruiting for 2 x Permanent Construction Site Managers for contracts around the Manchester/Wigan/Liverpool areas as soon as possible.Our client is based in South Yorkshire but complete most of their work across the Lancashire/Merseyside counties, soon to be reaching as northwards as Cumbria.The right candidates will be experienced in commercial to residential conversions, mainly to apartments or HMO’s.Main duties and responsibilities: * Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project/s * Ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs * Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public * Coordinating and supervising construction workers * Selecting tools and materials * Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety * Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings * Maintaining quality control procedures * Finding ways to prevent and solve any that may arise * Assessing and minimising risk * Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork * Assisting to negotiate contracts and securing permits and licences.Job Specifics * Permanent * Salary in the region of £30,000 per annum * 40 hours per week * Fuel packageThe right candidate will have their Managers CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid and will ideally come from a trade background, such as Joinery.You must have previous experience in managing similar projects, and ideally the capability to run one larger commercial-residential conversion or multiple smaller HMO’s.To ApplyFor more information and to apply, please contact Becky Verity at V-Recruit on (phone number removed) and email your CV
