Construction & Engineering Team WorkWe specialise in strategic projects and complex dispute resolution. With a strong UK-wide presence, clients include central and local government, utilities, developers, funder and investors, Tier 1 contractors as well as end-users. Clients include: Affinity Water // Costain // RBS // EDF // The Crown Estate // Equitix // Highways England // Investec Bank // Transport for LondonThe range of work continues to grow and includes: Energy Infrastructure Transport Infrastructure Regeneration and commercial development and Dispute avoidance and resolution.We are working on projects such as: the Thames Tideway Tunnel, HS2, nuclear new build, The O2, M4 and Filton Airport development. RequirementsWe look for ambitious solutions-focused individuals with an interest in the built environment, who are keen to develop their knowledge and skills across a variety of project-types and sectors in what is a fast changing landscape for construction and infrastructure. You will have strong recent and relevant work experience advising on engineering and construction contracts in at least one of our key sectors. You will be a strong team player, able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively, and eager to accelerate your development and that of the wider team and firm.We are interested in speaking to lawyers with transactional or contentious work as a preference or, indeed, a mix of the two.We are committed to finding the right person for this role and are open to discussing flexible working patterns and office location.We are also interested in candidates who are Scottish qualified. The firm will support and fund successful candidates to become dual qualified (if not already English law qualified), including study leave and exam hotel expenses.
