Construction administrator

My client is a family-owned construction business based in Derbyshire. They are seeking an experienced administrator to join their team and support with a variety of administration duties on a pert time basis (20 hours per week).Duties will include: * Pricing of materials/goods and services for site and collating into excel/word * Ordering of materials/goods including hire goods for site * Office printing including plans / timesheets / signing in sheets / invoices * Collating a supplier/contractor database and ensuring regularly updated * Internet searches for new suppliers/sub-contractors * Stationery orders for office and site * Ensuring that Dropbox/SharePoint is up to date with correct site plans * Pulling together services applications for sites and chasing up responses * Setting up purchaser sales choices spreadsheets for new sites * Collating purchaser sales choice information packs for site and office * Liaising with local authorities and service suppliers to transfer new properties into company name. * Send out CIS vouchers to sub-contractors on a monthly basis, ensuring addresses are correct * Snagging: collating and passing on to site, liaising with clients to book trades in, and 12-month inspections * Supporting with job costing: collating figures * Monitoring/collating leads from the website * Demolition paperwork if required * Permit applications for site, hoarding, street works, parking etc with Via or Local authority * Health and Safety folder and signage * Collation of property certificates for hand over to office for warranty and legals * Rental property inspection/snagging co-ordination with officeAttributes * They are seeking a confident individual who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative and be able to prioritise their workload effectively. * Good telephone and PC skills including Microsoft packages, Word, Excel and Outlook * Navigating the internet is essential and knowledge of SharePoint would be an advantage. * Own transport is essential for site visits. * Construction and/or property development knowledge desirableThe working hours are 20 per week ideally over 4 days – Flexibility is required for the days of work as these may change on a weekly basis
