My client is a growing contractor based in Hertfordshire who are now looking to add to their team by bringing an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer into the business.Do you have the skills to fill this role? Read the complete details below, and make your application today.Ideally, they are looking for someone with Service, Maintenance and Installation experience.As a business they have a full M&E installation side plus Controls / BMS and there would be a chance to move to that side of the business if you were interested.This role will be primarily covering London areas and may be spread over a variety of contracts.Main Duties of the Commercial Gas Engineer * Undertake maintenance tasks, call out response & repair of all types of gas heating and plumbing as well as some installation work.* Efficiently maintain and repair plant/equipment * To carry out diagnostic, fault finding * Maintain PPM Paperwork * To identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements * To understand, complete all work related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers' expectations.* To understand & comply with policies and procedures * To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner * To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures * To attend, fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required * To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required Person Specification * Experience as a 'Commercial Gas Engineer' * Gas Safe * Commercial Gas Tickets * Must be willing to work at height * A good general experience in working in occupied premises, Offices, Schools etc.* A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures * The ability to communicate at all levels * Full Driving Licence
