Due to this, they are happy to consider home based candidates from across the UK for this role.They are a leading Midlands based Groundworks and Earthworks contractor working throughout the Midlands and Northern Home Counties region. They have an established and loyal residential, build and infrastructure client base, delivering civil engineering packages from £2m - £30m+.Due to a continued increase in enquiries and solid project pipeline, they are looking for an intermediate or senior level estimator to join an established preconstruction team.Working from home and reporting into the Preconstruction Director, you will ideally be from an engineering background or quantity surveying background, pricing civil engineering packages from 1st Principals.As the ideal candidate you will have the following experience:Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or Quantity SurveyingExperience working on and pricing a range of civil engineering packages, including Groundworks, Earthworks and RemediationEstimating projects from 1st PrinciplesReading and reviewing internal and external designs, Take-off's from designs and building up BoQLiaising with specialist subcontractors, producing tender packs, reviewing and scoring subcontractor tender returns
