Meraki Talent’s industry leading Financial Services client are looking for a CASS Specialist to join a busy Client Money department.This is your chance to join a successful team where hard work is recognised. Reporting to the CASS Manager.Together with the other members of the CASS team, you will play a key part in delivering the group’s internal CASS monitoring programme and the annual external CASS audit.Responsibilities of the Position:Being the initial point of contact for CASS queries and requests for information in GlasgowAssisting the CASS Manager and CASS Oversight Director in investigating CASS breaches and incidentsIdentifying process enhancements to improve the CASS control framework across the groupMaintaining an up to date log of CASS breaches and incidentsProvide subject matter expertise to ensure the integrity of the operating model identifying and implementing best business practice where required.Ensure a high quality client service is delivered to all clientsAssisting the CASS Manager with drafting monthly MI and reports for Board and senior management meetingsAssisting the CASS Oversight Director in delivering CASS training to the Operations and Transfer Agency teamsDemonstrate a strong understanding of the risks to clients within their operation and how these will be mitigatedBackground of the Position: Knowledge of CASS 6, 7 & 8 rules Experience in an operational role, ideally in a TA environmentKnowledge of UK fund regulations impacting investment and asset managers, specifically CASS and FUND handbooksBe able to demonstrate a good understanding of the FCA’s CASS rulesBe able to demonstrate the ability to plan and project manage multiple projectsProficient at presenting and communicating information to a diverse audience
