A major Housing Association based in Coventry are looking for a Carpenter to join their reactive repairs department for a period of at least 9 months.A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.This is a full time contract position for 37 hours per week and you must be available to start on the 15th February 2021.The duties of the role are as below: * Ease and overhaul doors and windows * Replacing internal and external doors * Replace and fit new door and window locks on both timber and UPVC * Repair and replace kitchen doors, drawers and worktops * General repairs to internal joinery (Architrave, skirting etc) * Fascia and barge board repair/ replacement * Guttering and downpipes * Fencing and gate repairs * Remove and refit, bath panels, boxing, ducts * Neat application of sealant products * Able to use a PDA to receive and complete jobs * Manage a van material stock * Work in a pro-active manner * Work with the customer and planner to get the job done * Liaise with the Supervisor from site with technical issues * Comply with Health & Safety Policy The ideal candidate will have previous experience in social housing and you must have at least an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent along with a full UK Driving licence.If you are interested in this role, please ask for Paul Armson on (phone number removed) or email your CV to (url removed)
