Job description *** RECRUITING – EXPERIENCED MOBLE HANDYMAN/CARETAKER FOR THE BLACKBURN AREA - £9.23 PER HOUR ***Hours of work are Monday to Friday – shifts Candidates must be able to drive. The Company:- Our client is a leading Facility Management and property maintenance company delivering integrated Building and Facilities Management Services, to a number of prestigious clients across the UK.The Person req:-Responsible for the day to day management of the premises with respect to caretaking services, Organise, manage and monitor the tasks of the cleaning team. Respond to issues in a timely manner.Provide cover and remedial cleaning tasks as necessary. Organise and carry out staff inductions. Act as a key holder – carry out routine and non -routine security procedures for the premises and grounds. Respond to security or maintenance issues outside normal working hours. Manage and monitor work undertaken by sub-contractors including the delivery of site inductions. Carry out minor routine maintenance tasks in accordance with planned preventative maintenance programme including pre-planned maintenance tasks. Assist in report preparation. Undertake porterage tasks.Make arrangements for the delivery, distribution and storage of materials. Ensure adequate supplies of cleaning materials and other consumable items are available. Ensure procedures are followed for the safe and efficient handling of waste. Respond in a safe manner to the effects of adverse weather conditions. Undertake and regularly review risk assessments for call caretaking related tasks.
