Job Ref:5178 Job Title: CAD Technician Location: Glasgow Type: Permanent Closing date: Close date not set Job Description Bouygues E&S Contracting is recruiting for a CAD Technician to produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. Accountabilities and key tasks: - Work from engineers/designers calculations, rough sketches or drawings to produce accurate and structured drawings- Visit site as required in order to gain practical experience of installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness- Enhance own company knowledge by obtaining a brief understanding of the process involved on a project from tender through to final completion- Ensure that company standards are adhered to at all times following the correct processes and procedures- Have excellent communication between the department and the wider construction team Who we are looking for: Essential:- Experience using Revit and AutoCAD- Experience in M&E or Construction focused roles- Knowledge of CDM regulations- Excellent communication skills- Good understanding of MS Office softwareTogether with our partners and clients, Bouygues E&S delivers award-winning construction, development and regeneration projects to the most exacting standards across public and commercial private sectors.
