Job overview Working as an apprentice (bricklayer or plasterer) for a construction company. Working as a labourer to a tradesmen and attending college to work towards your SVQ level 6 in bricklaying or plastering. What will I learn? All necessary skills to be competent in your chosen trade, working with experienced tradesmen and attending college part time to do so. What qualification or qualities are required? We are looking for candidates who are hard working, eager to learn new skills and a track record of good timekeeping. School leavers preferred. Note - Candidate MUST be local (Whitburn, Bathgate, Armadale, Fauldhouse) candidate must be able to make their own way to our yard in Whitburn for 6am each day and there is little in the way of public transport locally at this time
