Branch Sales Coordinator

City Plumbing Supplies is currently recruiting for a Branch Sales Coordinator to help support the pricing manager in providing quotation & price support for branch generated enquiries, for customers that are not account managed, for large projects or business that requires supplier contract support.Your main role will be to provide price guidance to branches and commercial viability of targeting business or matching competitor prices where the required price is in excess of safety net levels. To do this you will need to promote the full range of products and maximise sales opportunities.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo manage enquiries from initial enquiry, through to the invoice to the customer, by identifying the products or materials required, offering alternatives if necessary, to maximize profit for the company.To exceed personal sales target and quote conversion rate through effective market competitive quotes. To raise the profile of the Branch Support function nationally and to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely fashion.Negotiating and building relationships with key suppliers and their representatives.To maintain a high level of product knowledge, communication of supplier price increases to branches and customers and maintain an awareness of any supply chain issues or product shortages. To participate and drive your personnel development through training and learning from others.Knowledge/SkillsAbility to identify, understand and respond to customer needs.Ability and confidence to make outgoing sales calls to prospective new customersPrevious experience in a similar role.Commercial awareness of Plumbing & Heating market placeImportant BehavioursPrevious experience in a similar role.Negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively remotelySelf starter who looks for the next opportunity to contribute About us:City Plumbing has built a reputation for selling quality plumbing and heating products to the trade and operates from more than 300 branches nationwide.
