Job DescriptionWhat is the role?To assist in the provision of all key elements of the Registration function.Please click on the option to download additional information on this vacancy to access the Job Description.Extra information:The Grade of this post is -Grade 1 / Level 4, the hourly rate is from £10.04 to £10.95 and the annual salary is from £18,323 to £19,984.Grade 2 / Level 5, the hourly rate is from £11.20 to £12.33 and the annual salary is from £20,604 to £22,502.Grade 2 / Level 6, the hourly rate is from £12.68 to £13.86 and the annual salary is from £23,141 to £25,294.Applicants will need to have experience of Registration and be familiar/have a working knowledge with the processes and procedures surrounding all aspects of the registration of births, deaths and marriages. Applicants must be prepared to follow a course of study, some of which will be in their own time, and to attend specific training sessions in Edinburgh. They will also be required to sit a final examination after working at L4/5 for a minimum of two years in order to progress to the L6 pay scale. Closing date for applications is 16 February 2021.
