Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Passive Fire Protection Projects West YorkshirePermanent Opportunity £30k - £35k Howells Solutions are working with a leading Passive Fire Protection Specialist Contractor to find a successful and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in West Yorkshire. They are an already successful, but quickly expanding business who are looking to grow their commercial team and recruit somebody who has experience working within a commercial / accounting role, who is keen to progress and build their own team. You will support the Commercial Manager with delivery of the day to day commercial function of the business in the North region. Key Duties: Undertake applications for payment - Including fact finding tasks, analysing payment notices, resolving disputes and final accounting Reviewing and challenging job status for billing. Assisting finance with problem solving and reconciliation tasks. Assisting finance with any billing queriesSupporting admin with invoicing (may be expected do undertake some invoicing when required).Supporting admin with invoicing process and procedure including hand over documents on completion.Support with other duties such as; chasing PO's checking and seeking clarifications, checking values and terms, credit notesSupport Commercial Manager with other general ad-hoc tasks including but not limited to; help facilitate completion of JCR, Forecasting, pulling together information for billing and cost to completes.
