I'm actively recruiting on behalf of a Kent based client. They are specialists within the Construction & Fit Out/Refurbishment space - working across a range of sectors. They are recruiting for 2x Assistant Quantity Surveyors to join their team. One of which will be based in Maidstone, the other in Ashford. The ideal candidate will have picked up a year or two of experience post-qualification. You will be supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor to carry out their daily duties. Daily duties will include: Liaising with clients to identify their needsEstimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labourAssisting in the preparation of tender and contract documentsIdentifying and weighing up commercial risksValuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing paymentsAdvising on the maintenance costs of specific buildingsAssisting in submission of regular budget reports Core Attributes/Skills/Knowledge: Team player with an eagerness to learnExcellent eye for detailA couple years of on the job experienceStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Degree qualified (ideally with a quantity surveying related degree) Apply below or get in touch for more information!
