As an Assistant QS, you'll be based on site, working under the Senior QS and will be responsible for assisting with commercial aspects of developments across the UK You will be responsible for assisting senior staff with the following; Generating & maintaining relevant records for all commercial functionsEnsure the prompt submission of main contract payment applicationsCash collection & preparation of sub-contractor paymentsPrepare draft sub-contractsMonitor sub-contractor performanceUndertake pricing variations, design cost control & value engineeringAccurately record any delays and requests for extensions of timeUndertake the settlement of main contractor final accountsAttend meetings with other stakeholdersAssist Senior staff in the compilation of data Provide monthly and quarterly reportsSupervise Trainee and Graduate Surveyors We are looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyors who have proven experience with a principal and Sub-Contractor working on a variety of different construction projects.
