About The Role We are currently looking to expand the our growing store development team with the addition of an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Despite the pandemic, we have no plans to stop growing and opening more state-of-the-art showrooms across the UK and this role will play a pivotal role in this project by helping to prepare, evaluate & manage costs for new showrooms and refits. Main Responsibilities: To prepare tenders by gathering drawings, specifications and documents from design teams Manage the tender process and analyse the tender returns and recommend winning contractor Review store drawings and drawing revisions through out the store fit out, make sure revisions are sent to required parties Control & monitor costs throughout the store fit out. Travel to sites and make sure progress is as per the programme of works so key opening dates are met. Carry out final quantity measures and agree final accounts with Quantity surveyor and contractors Check and log refit costs for the refit stores, working with the Refit Project Manager. Keep costs up to date for new showrooms and refit showrooms About You Desired skills and knowledge: Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential Strong organisational skills Excellent skills in Microsoft Office packages Good communication skills both verbal and written
