A fantastic Assistant Cashier permanent opportunity to join a growing team in a well recognised legal firm. Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnered with a growing legal firm based in Edinburgh to support in the recruitment for a permanent Assistant Cashier.This new role is to join a well established team on a full time basis, 40 hours a week and work cooperatively with the wider business. Your new role In your new role, you will be providing support to the Head and Deputy Cashier as well supporting the wider team.You will be managing the payment of suppliers, bank reconciliations, posting journals, liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries as well as supporting in the day to day running of the processes.You will be committed to providing an excellent level of client care as well technically able to carry out this role. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you must have notable prior experience working in a legal firm and understand legal transactions.You must be confident in making your own decisions as well the ability to delegate tasks to other members of the team.You will have previously worked at a high level in a small firm, or have had managerial responsibilities.You should be a team player and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
